Built in 1966, the Lawson swimming pool provides a family and friendly environment for all to enjoy. It is a community staple. Our pool measures 55′ and 30′ 4″ x 83′ and ranges from 3 to 8 feet deep.

OPENING SOON - Summer 2026 〰️
Pool Opening Day for the 2026 season is May 30th.
In preparation for this 2026 summer transition, we have been working diligently behind the scenes to build a strong and proper foundation for the Lawson Swim Club. This has included business filing at the state and federal levels, obtaining our EIN, ensuring we are structured correctly as a nonprofit organization, addressing the many important details required to move this effort forward responsibly, and much more!
The next in this process was the legal transfer of the pool from the City of Lawson to the Lawson Swim Club. We have officially filed the necessary paperwork following the most recent city meeting, and the deed has been trasnfered.
The town meeting on April 27th, we were present to represent the interest of the Lawson Swim Club. We are patiently waiting for the city’s attorney to make the transfer of ownership official. Final transfer was agreed on at the city meeting on Monday the 18th.
The sale was approved, and we have started organizing volunteers for our various pool committees.
We remain excited and optimistic about bringing the pool back for the community very soon.
